Plenty of women want a sleeve. Not to hide anything — because a bare shoulder in an air-conditioned studio is simply cold, and because a sleeve reads as dressed in a way a bra top doesn't.
This is that sleeve, in a knit thin enough for a heated room, on a short that holds. It's the most-worn shape we make for a reason.

It sits just above the high-rise waistband, so there's no skin gap when you reach overhead — the two pieces are cut to meet.
The knit is dense rather than thin, so it holds its coverage as it stretches. Very light shades over a strong contrast can show a little at full stretch, as most light activewear does — the deeper shades are the safer pick if that matters to you.
Machine wash cold with like colours and lay flat to dry. Skip fabric softener and the dryer and the knit keeps its stretch.

The garment's, lying relaxed, as measured by the manufacturer. They read much smaller than the body they fit because the knit stretches — so don't compare them directly against your own waist and hips. If you want a steer, go by the garment measurements against a piece you already own and like the fit of.
